Heping District Farmers' Association of Taichung City is located at 16 KM on Provincial Highway No. 8, and it was built on the central location in the vast Heping District.
The area of Heping District is 1,037 square kilometers with cultivated land area of 6,338 hectares. 90% local residents are engaged in agriculture, and farmers include indigenous people, veterans, southern Fujian people, and Hakka. Due to the district is located at the attitude of more than 1,000 meters, the overall environment is very special and it can be regarded as unique. The climate is appropriate for growing various crops; the high mountain areas are abounded with excellent fruits for temperate zones, like juicy peach, oriental pear, honey pear, pyrus nivalis, apple, California pear, and high-mountain tea while the areas with low attitude are famous for tankan, sand pear, persimmon, honey tangerine, peach, plum, Asian plum, flower, and trout, It is a main area that supplies unique produces in Taiwan.
Our associate promotes brand recognition of Lishan Tea and its marketing channels to protect the interests and rights of tea farmers’.
